Following an announcement by the City League that they will not provide a 9v9 competition next season (2012/2013), we have decided that we will provide one if there is sufficient demand.

Matches will be played at Alvaston Park on a Saturday and on a Sunday. Full details will follow in due course.

The League Secretary has written to Club Secretaries and asked them to canvas their current U11 teams so we can gauge interest and ensure we have enough pitches. If you are a parent or manager of such a team, please express your interest through your Club Secretary ASAP.

Cup Finals & Presentation Night

This year the cup finals will be at Ilkeston FC on 6th May. Presentation Night will be on 25th May at Derby Assembly Rooms. Watch this space for more details as we get into detailed planning.

We are also looking into a dedicated awards event for the Development Section if we can find a suitable venue and if there is interest from Clubs.
